Client Agreement Form

This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Downriver Scoopz, hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider," and the client, effective as of the date of service initiation.

Services:
Service Provider agrees to provide dog waste removal services to the client based on the subscription plan selected. The services include regular scheduled visits to the client's premises for the purpose of scooping and removing dog waste.
​
Subscription Plans:
Client agrees to select one of the subscription plans offered by the Service Provider, which includes the frequency of visits and the corresponding fee. The subscription plan details, including frequency of visits and additional services, will be outlined in the service agreement.

Payment:
Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon subscription fee in advance for the chosen subscription plan. Payment can be made through the Service Provider's preferred payment method.

Term and Termination:
This Agreement shall commence on the effective date and shall continue for the duration of the selected subscription plan, unless terminated earlier as provided herein. Either party may request termination through the Downriver Scoopz website (customer portal). In the event of termination, Client shall remain responsible for any fees due for services rendered prior to the termination date.

Access to Premises:
Client agrees to provide access to the premises for the Service Provider's employees or contractors to perform the dog waste removal services. Client shall ensure that any gates or areas where dog waste is located are accessible during scheduled service visits.
​
Liability:
Client acknowledges that the Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages or injuries arising out of the performance of the dog waste removal services, except for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Service Provider's employees or contractors.

Indemnification:
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or related to Client's breach of this Agreement or Client's negligence or willful misconduct.

All Sales Final:
Please note that all sales are final. We do not provide credits for canceled services, as we incur costs for scheduling and planning.

Subscription Management:
Clients may cancel or adjust their subscription by logging into the customer portal on the Downriver Scoopz website.
​
Pickup Scheduling:
Upon subscription, Downriver Scoopz will contact the client within 48 hours to schedule their pickup dates.
​
Pickup Safety:
By entering into an agreement for our dog waste removal services, you acknowledge and agree that for the safety of our technicians, all dogs must be securely indoors during the scheduled service visit. A representative of our team will text when on the way to a scheduled service and also let the customer know when finished. This precaution ensures the well-being of both our team members and your beloved pets. We kindly request your cooperation in securing your dogs indoors prior to our arrival. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in the rescheduling of the service appointment. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for all involved.

Agreement Acceptance:
By selecting the "I Agree" button, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Agreement.

Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Michigan, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
​
Entire Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding and agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.
